Lysistrata: A woman's translation - a modern adaptation of Aristophanes' classic comedy written and performed entirely in rhyme. Lysistrata, an Athenian woman fed up with war, rallies a force of women together to stage a sex strike, seize the treasury, and force the men of each warring faction to sign a truce. This play is a fast-paced, crude, and comedic affair of a sex-starved population, and an equally important narrative on sexual relations in a highly male dominated society.
