LSESU Global Brigades will be hosting two Welcome Sessions in October to welcome all new and old members! You only need to come to one Welcome Session, but just come to the one that suits your schedule best. There will be snacks and refreshments provided. Throughout this hour we will explain more about the society, what opportunities we offer and also have photos and talks by students who went on brigades this year and last year. This is a great opportunity to hear more about a society that focuses on development, consultancy and human rights! If you’re interested and can’t attend please send us an email at globalbrigades@lsesu.com

Global Brigades empowers over 130,000 community members in under-developed areas in Central America and Africa annually, helping them to reach their health and economic goals. The LSESU Global Brigades society teams up with the larger Global Brigades NGO to provide LSE students with unique opportunities for leadership, networking and international travel, so students can use their skills developed at university in order to help those in under-resourced communities.
