What to expect from an Itchy Feet trip?

  • Don’t worry about signing up on your own! Lots of people do this on all of our trips, and we always organise at least one pre-trip social (usually in the Tuns or the Knights Templar pub on Chancery Lane). We do everything we can to make sure everyone is comfortable, and in fact our trips are a great way to meet new people. We run post-trip socials and get-togethers too.
  • Our trips are organised, and you can always expect there to be at least 2 members of our committee present who will know the itinerary and all of our plans inside out. We’ll give you an information pack before we leave including some maps and our phone numbers in the event you get separated from the group.
  • That said, we aren’t paid travel agents and essentially we are a group of independent students all travelling together, so if something doesn’t go exactly to plan we ask you to bear with us and remember that you’re responsible for yourself.
  • It’s absolutely fine to come along on our group discounts and then plan your own itinerary – the committee will be sticking to our plan and you can join or leave as you like.
  • You are responsible for sorting out your visa if you require one. Unfortunately, we can’t help with this.
