LSESU STAR, LSESU Amnesty International and LSE Athletics and Running Club are coming together for a Run for Refugees! It's 5 km (eeeep), but Athletics and Running have assured us that this will be doable :)
The run will commemorate the anniversary of the demolition of 'the Jungle' which took place on October 24th 2016. So, this year, we're raising money for Help Refugees in support of their work to aid refugees in Calais.
Registration fee is £10 (all of which will go to Help Refugees). Any additional donations can either be donated to the online fundraising page, or be sent to the ARC (Level 1, Saw Swee Hock building) before 4pm on either Friday 26th October or on Monday 29th October.
*Note* There will be prizes!! One for the highest funds raised, and, since the run is close to Halloween, a prize for best costume too. We may have some other prizes up for grabs as well...!
