The United Nations Society’s Blue Dragon Initiative, Amnesty International and the LSE Photography Society invite you to the Blue Dragon Charity Soirée in support for Blue Dragon Foundation on Thursday 23rd of February, from 7.30 to 9.30PM.

Blue Dragon Foundation is a Vietnam-based NGO that helps street children in situations of poverty, forced labour, and human trafficking. Blue Dragon provides support to these street children through their numerous programmes and ensures that no vulnerable child is left behind.

The Blue Dragon Charity Soirée is a collaboration between Blue Dragon Initiative and the LSE Photography society to raise awareness and funds for the NGO by displaying pictures taken by our very own LSE photographers and taken by Vietnamese photographers who have had the opportunity to capture special moments of a Blue Dragon child's life. The theme for this photography exhibition is “Light and Shadow” to symbolise the struggles and bravery that each Blue Dragon child encounters throughout their life.

The pictures will be available to buy on auction towards the end of the evening and the event will be highlighted by our guest speaker (to be announced shortly), who will talk to us about their experiences working in the area of human rights.

We hope that you will be able to join us for this charitable cause and support both the UN society and the LSE Photography society! All funds go to Blue Dragon Foundation to help them in their mission to support the street children of Vietnam.

The dress code is smart casual in black and white.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday 6th of February (1 ticket for £5, 2 tickets for £8)
