Application deadline: Tue 17 Sep 2019
The Representation Team supports ambitious students to change the LSE experience for the better, whether that’s through a community building event or a campaign. The Student Funds Coordinator specialises in facilitating student-led initiatives by allocating funding to groups and individuals, as well as providing operational support. The role is pivotal to empowering our members, particularly our underrepresented groups, such as international students and postgraduates.
This role also supports the Advice Service in the allocation of their hardship fund.
Who we are looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is excited by a student-facing role in a membership led organisation. The ideal applicant will be confident with financial processes and take pride in working accurately. They will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other teams.
We’re proud of our organisation and believe the way we work is as important as what we do. We expect our staff to continuously look for ways we can improve the lives of our members and, in return, we offer a supportive environment where they can achieve their full potential.
Because you’re excited by the challenge! The exact opposite of corporate, we’re progressive, daring and creative individuals working to make a difference in unconventional workplaces.
