In October 2019 protests which began opposing a "WhatsApp Tax" have now overtaken the country. The World Bank estimated that nearly 48% of the population was living below the poverty line in 2019. This number has clearly increased since.

Join us in a talk moderated by seasoned middle-east policy activist Jordan Perry with Dr Fadi Hassan and portfolio manager Gerard Zouein to learn more!

The event will take place on the 8th of October 2020 from 5.00pm BST to 6.30pm BST over Zoom.
