Who we are

Part business, part charity, part membership body – students’ unions are seriously fun places to work. They are organisations in their own right. Professionally run, but different. Professional teams support elected student leaders to make change, improve lives and fulfil potential; we help make it happen.

Founded in 1897, LSE Students' Union is one of the oldest Students' Unions in the UK and is the representative and campaigning body for students at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Like other Students' Unions, it also funds and facilitates student activities of campus, including societies, sports clubs through the Athletics Union (AU), the Media Group and Raising and Giving (RAG) charitable fundraising initiatives.

About the job

You will work with the HR team to facilitate the recruitment of exceptional candidates to join the SU team. You will act as the first port of call all recruitment-related queries, posting advertisements, arranging interviews, corresponding with candidates, and supporting on interview days. As part of your role, you will handle employee documentation, including contracts, recruitment paperwork and starter packs. We are looking for a highly organised candidate who can work independently, communicate efficiently, and enjoy finding creative solutions to problems. Practice with diversity and inclusion policies will be an advantage, but full training will be provided. Please see the Job Description for more details.

Please note, this role is only open to current LSE Students.
