RAG

Fancy hitchhiking across Europe? Maybe attending a black tie ball in an exclusive club overlooking London? Travelling to a different city for a weekend filled with raising money and nights out? Parachuting out of a plane? Or perhaps attending a vintage tea party?

Well, LSE’s Raising and Giving (RAG) society allows you to do just that! RAG is one of the biggest groups on campus, filled with fun-loving students who aim to get as much as we can out of our time here at LSE... all in the name of charity.

Every year RAG puts on a huge range of events, in aid of our three chosen charities (which students can vote for at the beginning of each academic year).

We also help to facilitate and support student fundraising: whether you’re part of a society on campus or organising something yourself, we’re here to help!

Have a look at our pages for more info about our committee, the charities we are supporting this year and what you can expect to get up to with RAG!

You can stay involved by visiting our website emailing us at su.rag@lse.ac.uk or joining our facebook group (search LSE SU RAG) Also, become our friend on facebook to stay ultra up-to-date!

Helping you raise money for charity

We don’t just fundraise for our three charities, we also support individuals and societies in their own fundraising by providing advice and publicity. Just get in touch with us and let us know how we can help. The money will then go towards our annual RAG Total and you’ll be recognised for your efforts.

RAG Groups

You can also become official 'RAG Groups' if you want to pursue more long-term fundraising. We have meetings once every few weeks for groups of students and student societies who fundraise on campus.

RAG is keen to work together to raise money for great causes, not compete against each other.
