Intellectual Capital

Wednesday 25 June 2014

6pm - 7:30pm

6th Floor, Saw Swee Hock Student Centre

For the first time, LSE Students' Union is participating in London Festival of Architecture. Join us for an evening showcasing London's potential as an educational and intellectual capital. London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) has long been the home to the advancement of thought and ground-breaking research in the social sciences and is a world-renowned institution that has educated infuential thinkers, world leaders and Nobel prize-winners. LSE Students’ Union will give LFA audience members a taste of the research and ideas developing in LSE today through a moderated panel discussion in LSESU’s brand new home: the Saw Swee Hock Student Centre, designed by award-winning Irish architects O’Donnell + Tuomey and opened in January 2014.

Entitled Intellectual Capital, this event will bring together a number of LSE students from across various disciplines and levels of study to present their research relating to the Festival's theme of 'Capital'. the discussion will be preceded by student-led building tours and a display of research through the building, giving visitors an insight into the daily life of the newest addition to LSE's campus.

Book your ticket to the Intellectual Capital panel discussion on Eventbrite and join us for a drinks reception after the discussion.  Arrive early for a free student-led building tour, with 30 minute tours running regularly between 4 - 6pm.
