Beyond the Classroom Skills Sessions: Managing Conflict

The Managing Conflict workshop will be hosted by Shaun Harris, Acting Director at LSE Careers, and Jo Taplin-Green, Reader Services Manager, LSE Library.

Both Jo and Shaun are qualified workplace mediators. This session is for anyone who may feel they could benefit from developing their communication skills and strategies for managing conflict.

By the end of the session, you will have learnt:

-          Practical strategies and effective behaviours for managing and transforming conflict

-          What your own personal conflict style is using the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument

-          Tips for the effective facilitation of meetings
