EMPOWERED: Generation Black Revolution: Being BME and Politically Active

Tuesday 23 February 2016
6pm - 8pm
32L.G.03

The NUS Black Students Officer, Malia Bouattia and Film Director and Producer of ‘Generation Revolution’, Usayd, will be joining us to talk about the unique challenges BME people face in the world of political activism. We are lucky enough to be previewing a sneak peak of the new documentary, and will be in conversation about the tangible support networks we can access and the best ways to improve our social standing.
