The role and responsibilities of the position:
As Education Officer you are dealing with all educational issues across the school. You need to work on what students want and be held accountable for everything you do. You also represent the student body at a number of committees across the school structure.

It’s not all fun and games. The most challenging aspect is:
Implementing change is never easy, so you have to be determined and have conviction in your beliefs and goals in order to persevere and jump forward from any setbacks.
The most surprising part of the job is:
How may committees I sit on! Don’t get me wrong, they’re a great opportunity and it’s essential to have student representation, but there are so many!
The advice I would give to someone thinking of standing:
If you care about education, both at LSE and nationally, and feel that you can make a difference, go for it!
