Ballroom Dancing is a set of partner dances, including latin dances and standard dances. Yet, ballroom is not only great if you ever end up at a graduation ball or marriage – no! Most of the dances such as the popular Discofox and ChaChaCha could be danced to current chart music as we will do in our workshop.
During our workshop, we will be first providing a practical introduction to some of the most popular, common and useful dances and the basic technique for those entirely unfamiliar with how it all works. For those a bit more advanced, there will be an opportunity to learn some new movements. All welcome, no prior experience required. Bring a partner if you have one but don’t worry if you don’t – we will find a way.
