Over 150 student performers. The prestigious Lyceum theatre. One night...
This can only mean one thing
Acting. Singing. Dancing. A fusion of the arts that will entertain and delight interwoven into a storyline that will leave you on the edge of your seats. Get rejuvenated at the half-way point of term by experiencing a show that is sure to add a spring to your step after you leave the theatre.
Nikesh Mistry, President of Timeless, has been working tirelessly in the run-up to the biggest student production at LSE to give the audience a night they won't soon forget.
Mistry gives us a glimpse into what to expect from Timeless this year and what makes this show an event that can’t be missed.
“There is such a variety of acts this year ranging from dance, music and magic. Dance acts include hip-hop, Bollywood, Bhangra, contemporary and many, many more with a variety of music genres as well,” says Mistry.
Having previously participated in Timeless as a dancer in the Bollywood act last year, Mistry wanted to take a more active organizational role this year. “I really wanted to get more involved helping to shape and re-invent the society. I love that I am able to showcase the talent that LSE has to offer as the arts are sometimes forgotten amongst the hard work of our degrees.”
Rehearsals have been ongoing since November and the dancers, actors and musicians have been working it two to three times a week – perfecting their acts and preparing to perform to the best of their abilities.
Herein lies the best-kept secret of the London School of Economics and Political Science –not only do students talk the theoretical talk, but they act, sing, and dance too.
