Hungarian Society

The LSESU Hungarian Society was established to connect students who share an interest in Hungary - whether through its culture, history, politics, or simply a curiosity to discover more. We provide a welcoming community for Hungarian students at LSE and anyone eager to explore Hungary’s rich traditions, social life, and place in Central Europe and the World.

For the 2025/26 academic year, we have the following events planned. You can expect regular socials, often in collaboration with other Hungarian Societies from London universities, where you’ll have the chance to meet new people and celebrate Hungarian culture in a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll have speaker events with career professionals and academics from a range of fields offering valuable insights and opportunities for development. We also look forward to collaborating with the Hungarian Embassy in London and other LSE societies to create memorable events that combine culture, networking, and leisure.
