LSESU Geopolitics society aims to foster an environment open to all, where regardless of prior knowledge, anyone can share their unique perspective about the rich multi-disciplinary nature of geopolitics. From geography to international relations to finance, whatever your degree or interest, you are welcome here!

We host fortnightly debate events on particular topics in geopolitics where we share our perspectives and views in a free, open and respectful way. Come by to contribute your thoughts, hear from fellow students with different perspectives, and leave having learned something new.

Once a month we host discussion sessions with external speakers or where if you are passionate about a particular topic in geopolitics, you can present to your fellow society members, followed by a relaxed Q&A session – a brilliant opportunity to practise public speaking or just to sit back and learn about something new.
