PA society will explore how businesses can effectively promote and protect their interests and reputations in the public sphere, particularly in their engagement with governments and international institutions. We sit at the intersection of politics, business, and communications, showcasing how businesses can best navigate and influence the public sector.

Activities will include guest speaker events featuring professionals from public affairs and strategic advisory firms, offering insights into their roles and crucial practical advice on building a career in the sector. The society will also host skills-based workshops focused on key competencies such as stakeholder engagement, strategic messaging, and campaign management.

Ultimately, we aim to inspire students to pursue careers in public affairs across a range of contexts, whether in London in the UK political environment, in Brussels engaging with EU institutions, or in Washington working alongside the U.S. government.
