LSE Food Systems Society is an interdisciplinary student group for anyone interested in how food systems shape - and are shaped by - our economies, societies, and environments. Food systems sit at the intersection of sustainability, public health, global development, business, and social justice, yet they are often discussed in silos. This society creates a space to bring these perspectives together.

We aim to connect students from across LSE with academics, practitioners, and industry professionals working on food-related challenges and opportunities. Our activities will include guest lectures, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and career-focused networking events. Topics may range from sustainable agriculture and food policy to alternative proteins, trade, innovation, and global food security - or, we might just try specialty food products.

The society is open to students of all backgrounds and disciplines.
