Your Brazilian community at LSE. More than just parties - though we do those really well.
The LSESU Brazilian Society is the home for all things Brazil on campus. Whether you're Brazilian, have Brazilian roots, studied in Brazil, or simply love the culture - você é bem-vindo aqui.
We're building a community that connects members professionally, intellectually, and socially. From our legendary Carnaval party (Braguncinha, 400+ attendees) to career panels with Brazilian firms in London, from academic speaker series to regular socials across universities - we create the spaces where lasting connections are made.
What We Do
🎉 Social & Cultural Events Our signature Carnaval celebration, regular socials with Brazilian societies across London, watch parties for Brazil matches, and cultural celebrations that bring a taste of home to campus.
💼 Professional Development Quarterly industry panels featuring Brazilian professionals in finance, law, consulting, and tech. Direct networking with Brazilian firms in London and alumni connections to boost your career.
🧠Academic Engagement Speaker series with Brazilian academics, policymakers, and researchers. Joint events with research centres and other Latin American societies. A space to share and discuss research on Brazil.
Who We Are: 50+ members representing Brazil's regional diversity - from Rio to São Paulo, from Belo Horizonte to Brasília, and everywhere in between. We're undergrads, masters students, PhDs, and exchange students. We're Brazilians, half-Brazilians, and Brazil enthusiasts.
