For those unafraid to strike roots into unaccustomed earths, a community tending to LSE’s green spaces
The SU Gardening Society is a community dedicated to cultivating green spaces at the LSE, and enhancing student wellbeing through hands-on gardening initiatives. Whether you're a gardening enthusiast, or just looking to try something new, there is something for everyone! Here is what's in bloom:
(1) Curation and maintenance of the LSE's own plant nursery, built by activities including seasonal planting days and terrarium workshops (2) Wellbeing events that take inspiration from eco-therapy to help you destress amidst the academic rigour (3) Flagship events including plant adoption drives and excursions to the gardens in London
These sessions are relaxed, rewarding, and a great way to take a break while contributing to something meaningful.
