About us

Welcome to the LGBTQ+ Society at LSE!

We are a student-run society open to all students and allies across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. Our aim is to provide a safe space through a range of social, political, and career-focused events throughout the term, aimed at supporting all queer students to feel safe and find community across campus. 

What you get for just £4.50

Here are just a few examples of the exciting events we have held in the past:

• Nights out at queer venues across London, including Dalston Superstore (committee fav!), Freedom and Two Brewers!
• Movie nights, game nights and chilled socials, including regular socials not centred around drinking.
• Community-focused nights for Trans. Ace and QPOC students. 
• Dedicated campaigning network in association with LGBTQ+ Officer and Staff Networks to campaign for LSE to be a safe queer space for students. 
• Pub nights at the Three Tuns and George IV 
• Networking events with employers and external speakers, in association with LSE Careers. 

By becoming a member of the LGBTQ+ Society today, you support our social and campainging efforts, supporting the society to bring the best member-led events across the year and lobby LSE management on queer issues. We are one of the cheapest society memberships across LSESU!

We also have plenty of opportunities throughout the year to support the running of our society. Full details will be on our WhatsApp and Instagram accounts.
