Konnichiwa! The LSESU Japan Society is one of the most diverse societies on campus that aims to share the unique culture and traditions of Japan. Throughout the year, we host a variety of social and cultural events - food events, movie nights and much more!
We are the perfect society to join if you want to experience Japanese culture, learn the Japanese language and get information on careers in Japan! Most importantly, we are here to help you socialise and meet other students who share similar interests with you.
We are often asked at Welcome Fairs whether non-Japanese students could join us. The answer is, of course, YES! Any LSE student can become a member and we are excited to get to know you :)
By purchasing membership, you will receive discounts on all of our paid events and access our free Japanese career seminars. Your membership fee will help us organise enjoyable events (and serve you high-quality snacks).
If you are unsure of joining, we are planning to host a Give-it-a-go event at the beginning of Michaelmas Term so try to meet us then and have a think!
