Middle East and North Africa (MENA)

LSESU MENA Society is for all those interested in the region. We run events such as talks, panels, fundraisers and discussion rounds on political, cultural and business-related issues in the region. Amongst others, we had events last year on: A series on 5 years after the Arab uprisings with individual events on Syria, Libya, Bahrain, Tunisia, Egypt and Yemen; Christian minorities in the Middle East; humanitarian crisis in Yemen; freedom of expression and press in the Middle East. Of course, our society also is about the social aspect, and there are regular socials for society members.
