LSESU’s international student sport project aims to make sport and physical activity accessible and welcoming for students from all backgrounds. We provide dedicated sessions, resources, and information to help international students engage with clubs and activities. A new sport overview video will be dubbed in the most common campus languages, giving students clear guidance and empowering them to participate, connect, and feel included in LSE’s sporting community.

Overview

LSE has a vibrant international student community, and we recognise that international students can face unique barriers to engaging in sport and physical activity on campus. To address this, we are developing resources to help all students understand the wide range of sporting opportunities available. Our aim is to provide accessible sessions across departments, as well as dedicated spaces and initiatives specifically for international students.

Over the coming months, we will create a sport and exercise overview video, which will be dubbed into the most common languages on campus — with your help!

If you would like to contribute by dubbing the video in your first language, or if you have ideas for events and activities tailored to international students, please contact Dan Smith (Physical Activity and Wellbeing Coordinator) at d.smith15@lse.ac.uk.
