LSE Big Band is the London School of Economics’ only jazz big band, open to musicians of all levels and backgrounds. Whether you play the saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, or guitar, or simply love jazz and want to get involved, you’re welcome to join!

Members become part of a vibrant and diverse community of musicians and music-lovers, enjoying regular rehearsals, social events, trips, competitions, and live performances across the country. No prior jazz experience is required - just enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a love for music.
