Welcome to the Drake Society — LSE's home for Drake fans, hip-hop lovers, and everyone in between.
Whether you've been a day-one fan since So Far Gone, you're still recovering from the Take Care era, or you just can't stop replaying Views, Drake Soc is the place for you. We're a community of LSE students brought together by a shared love of one of the most influential artists of our generation, and the culture he's helped shape.
Started from the bottom, now we're here: launching in 2026/27 as LSE's first society dedicated entirely to Drake and hip-hop appreciation. We're building a welcoming, inclusive space where Drake fans of every level — die-hard, casual, or curious — can come together to celebrate, debate, and connect.

What we get up to:

Listening Parties — Full album playbacks of classics like Take Care, Nothing Was the Same, IYRTITL, and Scorpion, plus reaction sessions for every new release.
Lyric Analysis Workshops — Deep dives into Drake's storytelling, wordplay, and emotional themes. Bring your hottest takes.
Themed Socials & Trivia Nights — Drake-themed quizzes, debates (best era? best feature? best diss track?), and themed parties.
Club Nights — Drake- and hip-hop-themed nights out, both on our own and in collaboration with other LSESU societies.
Hip-Hop Culture Talks — Conversations on Drake's influence beyond music: fashion, sports, the OVO empire, memes, and his impact on R&B, Afrobeats, and global rap.
Collaborations — Joint events with the Music Society, ACS, and other cultural societies on campus.

Who's it for?
Everyone. Whether you know every ad-lib on If You're Reading This It's Too Late or you just vibe to "One Dance" at every pre-drinks, you belong here. No gatekeeping, no judgement — just good music and great people.
