LSE ABACUS blends Asian culture with the best student life in London. From dumpling buffets, inter-uni football to the most packed club nights in Mayfair, we are where your university stories start.
Welcome to London School of Economics' Association of British and Chinese University Students (ABACUS) 2025/26!
LSE ABACUS blends Asian culture with the best student experiences in London. Regardless of nationality and beliefs, we embrace all Asian and English cultures. Through hosting and organising fun social events all throughout the year, we aim to promote stronger connections within the LSE community, and creating long-lasting friendships between students. We strive to broaden the horizons of students, build on their global awareness and interpersonal skills, and also create mutual appreciation among students from diverse backgrounds.
Our range of internal and external socials and activities in collaboration with other societies and London universities include karaoke nights, hotpots, paint-balling, weekend trips, skating, bowling and many other cultural and outdoor activities alongside our famous London ABACUS clubbing events, such as the biggest party night in London to celebrate Chinese New Year, and our sellout flagship boat party on the river Thames.
Our one-time £5 membership will immediately grant you a £5 discounted access to all of our sellout events throughout the season. (*You make back the membership if you attend just one event!)
