Welcome to Yoga Soc! Our society is a big family of Yogis (of all abilities!!) practicing yoga and mindfulness in a non-judgemental environment... and having a laugh while doing it!

Every week, we hold yoga and mindfulness sessions free for our members and this year we will be offering both in person and online classes (so there really is no excuse not to get involved!!). These sessions are super varied: one week we’re meditating in silence, the next we’re burning off our uni stress in a high-intensity class. We also organise fortnightly socials, all of which are centred around mindfulness, wellbeing & relaxation. Keep an eye on our social media channels to find out more!

With loads of fundraising, society collaborations, and campaigning planned, there’s no way you’ll miss us! We can’t wait for you to give it a go and join in.

Membership

Our yearly membership is £15. This gives you free and unlimited access to every yoga and meditation session over the academic year. Your £15 allows us to: pay our dedicated, highly qualified, and experienced instructors; provide good quality equipment; book the best facilities for our sessions; and really up the ante with our socials.

With amazing instructors, equipment & socials, where you can meet like-minded individuals to chill with, this is a great deal! Our classes accommodate a range of yoga styles so be sure to purchase your membership to not miss out!

Events and Activities

We hold two yoga sessions a week and one meditation session every fortnight, led by qualified and experienced instructors with a range of styles for all abilities. Check our social media channels or join our mailing list to see our weekly schedule! This year we will be offering our members a packed events calendar, where all our members can come together to enjoy a range of mindfulness activities, food, and drink, with some key discussions to make sure you take more than just a colouring book away with you!

We are also working on collaborations with sports and cause societies to make sure more people feel the benefits of yoga practice and give others at LSE the opportunity to get involved with the best society on campus!! Additionally, there will be plenty of fundraising opportunities and involvements in key campaigns across the Student’s Union.
