Hi! I’m Moe Cherry, and I’m running to be your next Education Officer.
I’m an MSc student in Social and Cultural Psychology, having an MA in Philosophy and six years of experience as a cohort manager and mentor at a leadership program at the American University of Beirut.
At LSE, I represent both my department and my course in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science. I also launched a garden rehabilitation project near an LSE student hall to create lasting community service opportunities for our students.
I’m committed to making our education at LSE more accessible, engaging, and student-centered. If elected, I will work to:
Expand Career Opportunities
- Develop a centralized, user-friendly system that connects students with more relevant opportunities.
Improve Study Spaces
- Enhance lighting, furniture, and noise control to make study areas more functional and student-friendly.
Make On-Campus Food Affordable
- Push for more value meal options that are budget-friendly and meet students’ needs.
Enhance Feedback on Assignments
- Advocate for more personalised feedback—through dedicated face-to-face sessions—to help students engage with and improve their work.
LSE should empower its students, not just challenge them. Let’s make more of our academic experience together! Vote for Moe, vote for more!
