Empower. Advocate. Lead. Stronger Together at LSE!
I’m Prakriti Dhakal, a Global Health Policy student, Chevening Scholar, and lifelong advocate for women’s rights, equity, and empowerment. As Women's Officer, I will work to ensure every woman at LSE feels heard, valued, and supported.
My Commitments:
Safety & Well-being – Strengthen reporting mechanisms for harassment, expand mental health support, and advocate for more female-identifying counselors.
Breaking Barriers – Push for equal funding, leadership opportunities, and mentorship programs to uplift women in academia and careers.
Inclusion & Equity – Ensure free period products, flexible policies for caregivers, and stronger advocacy for marginalized women (LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and disabled students).
Stronger Networks – Create safe spaces for discussions, career-building opportunities, and collaborative advocacy efforts.
With experience in policy, advocacy, and community leadership, I am committed to turning words into action. I believe in empowering women, fostering change, and creating a more inclusive LSE.
