Put the AU back in Action with Claxton
Playing for Men's Football at Berry twice a week, participating in fund-raising events such as ‘Movember’ alongside my teammates and nights out with the whole union on Wednesdays have all been key aspects of my life at LSE so far.
These have all been directly influenced by the work of the AU so I’m running for AU President to represent the LSE student community and ensure the return to playing and events are as enjoyable as they are anticipated. My main aims to achieve this are to …
- Increase the number of FIXTURES by improving access to club funds and communication with other unis, working alongside club captains and execs.
- Introduce new SOCIALS in collaboration with other societies within the SU, such as Pulse Radio, to diversify the social calendar while expanding already successful events like Fight Night and Carol.
- Maximise INCLUSION by encouraging new members to join across all years, including socially, and organising union-wide events early in the MT to introduce and reunite the AU after over a year apart.
