BOOKING GUIDANCE
STEP 1 - Society Membership and Resource Booker
- In order to book and use a Music Practice Room, you will first need to buy a membership to the Music Society.
- Once you've done this, you'll be added to the list of users who can book these spaces on Resource Booker.
( NOTE: It may take 2-3 working days for your membership to be synced up on the system, so don't worry if the rooms aren't immediately visible to you. If the issue does persist, please email su.societies@lse.ac.uk. )
👇
STEP 2 - Check Availability and Request Room
- Once you're on Resource Booker, take a look at the spaces available for you to book, and submit your request through the system using your full name in the booking title. You'll receive an automated response to your booking at this stage.
( NOTE: You will only be able to book a single 1-hour slot on any given day, and only on dates up to 14 days in advance. )
👇
STEP 3 - Room Confirmation
- After submitting your request, you should hear back with full confirmation of your booking from the Room Bookings team within 1 working day (Mon-Fri). If for any reason there's an issue, they'll let you know via email in the same way.
👇
STEP 4 - Accessing the Room
- For the Marshall Building, you will be asked by staff on the (Floor -1) reception desk to exchange your LSE ID * as a deposit for access to the room, so please speak to them on arrival so that they can help you out. When your session is finished, you'll be able to get your LSE ID back.
- For Lincoln's Chambers, you will need to scan your LSE ID on the door to the building in order to gain access.
* For LFS/NYU students and staff, an equivalent photo ID will suffice in place of the LSE one.
