As a Sports Facility/Gym Attendant, you will be required to support the day-to-day supervision and operation of the SU Sports Facility or the SU Gym, ensuring they are used safely, efficiently, and that they provide a welcoming environment for all users. These roles will be the first point of contact for students and members using the facilities, providing excellent customer service while supporting the safe operation of equipment, managing bookings, and responding to enquiries.
The purpose of this job is to support the wider organisation in providing a high-quality service to all visitors at the Students’ Union, and offer administrative support to the different teams that work within the LSESU overall.
In this role, you will support the Societies team in the administration, organisation, and troubleshooting of student activities and events, by processing and responding to queries related to the different levels (and high volume) of event forms submitted by Societies throughout the year, thus facilitating a smooth level of service and support.
The Access and Widening Participation Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting on the delivery of Access and Participation Plan interventions at LSESU. They will support the Campaigns and Participation Team with running key support services for marginalised groups of students, such as the Ethnic Minority Mentoring Scheme (formerly BME Mentoring Scheme), and helping to facilitate LSESU’s contribution to the LSE Navigate programme.
LSE Students’ Union has one of the largest and best offerings of student clubs and societies (including RAG and the media groups) in London, which shapes and impacts on almost every student’s experience of LSE. The post-holder for this role will support the Student Leaders within these Societies in delivering their activities throughout the year, and provide impactful development opportunities for them in doing so.
