Who are we?
LSESU is a vibrant, student-led organisation committed to helping LSE students make the most of the life-changing experiences open to them during their time at university. As part of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in shaping our future and helping us to create a student experience which is enjoyable and empowering.
Founded in 1897, LSE Students' Union is one of the oldest Students' Unions in the UK. We provide support, representation, and opportunities to help students thrive during their time at university. Who are we looking for?
LSESU is looking for a proactive, organised and customer-focused Sport Facilities Coordinator to oversee the daily operation of our sports facilities, ensuring high standards of service, health and safety, and an excellent user experience.
You will manage internal and external bookings, support the delivery of major sporting events, and oversee the training and development of student staff. Working closely with the Operations and Sport Facilities Manager, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our facilities, supporting day-to-day operations, administrative and financial tasks, and continuous improvements. You'll collaborate with staff and students, helping deliver a positive, inclusive and high-quality experience for all users.
We're looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills, a strong customer service ethos, and the confidence to lead and support a diverse team. Experience in facilities management or sports event coordination would be beneficial, but above all, you should be proactive, adaptable and able to solve problems effectively. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working collaboratively, and be passionate about delivering high-quality services and enhancing the student experience.
Why apply?

- Additional closure periods at Christmas and Easter
- Free LSE Students’ Union gym membership
- Opportunities for professional development and growth.
- Access to TOTUM (NUS) card, which provides a wide range of discounts
