About us

Founded in 1999, the society aims to promote Vietnamese culture in the multinational environment of LSE. Not only do we provide a social forum for Vietnamese students within LSE, we also organise activities to introduce the charming sides of Vietnam to non-Vietnamese students, such as our cultural workshops, Lunar New Year events with Vietnamese food, and support for keen travelers to Vietnam.

Membership

We only have the standard membership. Purchasing a membership to our society will give you access to all of our events throughout the year. Your membership fee goes towards the running of the club, including the cost of preparing and hosting for events.

As a member, you'll get the opportunity to explore and share the beauty of Vietnamese culture with other members but also help to maintain it in a multicultural environment like LSE. It is also a precious chance to meet new friends through our events and activities.

Events and Activities

Over the course of the year we host a wide number of events including:

  • Welcome dinner: First meeting for newcomers with the society
  • Celebration of Lunar New Year (Tet Holiday)
  • Annual General Meeting: to vote for the next committee

Contact Us

Our society is really excited to meet new members and welcome all of you to ask questions. If you need more information, don't hesitate to create a post in our group or drop an email at Vietnam@lsesu.org or send an message at our Facebook, and we'll be so happy to help you.
