Weekly Trainning Schedule 🗓️
We host three trainning sessions and a gym strenght and conditioning session every week! All trainnings take place on the Marshall Building Sports Hall at LSE and the Gym sessions take place at the LSESU Gym.
For Autumn Term, our schedule is as follows:
- Mondays, 08:30AM - 10:00AM ➝ Scrimmage-Focused Session
- Tuesdays, 11:00AM - 12:00PM ➝ Gym Strenght & Conditioning Session
- Thursdays, 2:00PM - 03:30PM ➝ Skills Session
- Saturdays, 10:00AM - 12:00PM ➝ Coach-Led Trainning Sessoon
Games and Championships🏆
After another great season by both our BUCS and LUSL teams, we are ready to win!! We believe that everyone should have a chance to play against other unis, so whether you are just looking to have fun or if you have a fully competitive spirit, you will have a chance to represent LSE on the court!! 🦫🧡💜
- Our 1st Team competes competitively on BUCS. Fixtures happen every Wednesday during term time.
- Our 2nd Team competes on LUSL. Fixtures happen on weekends every few weeks.
Socials and Travelling!🏆
Joinning a club at LSE is the perfect way to find community and connect with people with similar interests!! We are sure our socials will make your time at LSE unforgettable!! 😁💞 Our socials are designed to welcome everyone. Apart from the traditional LSE Wednesday Sports Nights at the Sway Bar, we also organize regular movie nights, team dinners, volunteerings, watch parties and lunches. We can't wait to see you there!!
Following a tradition among LSE sports clubs, this year we are planning a trip somewhere in Europe 👀👀 In previous years, our players have been to Amsterdam, Paris, Athens and Budapest!
In 2023, our first team was invited to the Les Parisiennes 2023 Sports Tournament in Paris. We also traveled to nearby towns to compete in away games which is a great way to see different parts of the country.
Memberships 🪪
We have three types of memberships, all of which include:
- Access to weekly trainning and gym sessions
- Access to all social events
- Access to games and fixtures
- Reimbursement of transport for out of London games
1ST TEAM MEMBERSHIP (£85 FOR THE YEAR) ➝ The 1st Team is our competitive team, which is formed during trials on the beginning of Autumn Term of every year. Fixtures happen every Wednesday, and players are expected to attend all practice and gym sessions every week. (Please, only purchase 1st Team memberships if you have been selected during trials)
2ND TEAM MEMBERSHIP (£75 FOR THE YEAR) ➝ The 2nd Team is open to all students, from total beginners to advanced players. Fixtures happen every few weeks on weekends, and players are welcome to join as many trainning and gym sessions as they can.
NYU MEMBERSHIP (£45 FOR ONE TERM) ➝ Our club is more than welcoming of NYU students! This year, we created this new membership designed specially for those on six-moth programmes! 🗽Due to BUCS regulations, NYU students are only allowed to play for our 2nd Team. (If you are on a one-year long proramme at NYU, feel free to purchase our 2nd Team membership!)
