Creative Network

The CN is a student-led committee striving to celebrate arts on campus, foster collaboration between creative individuals and societies, and build an inclusive community of inspiring minds at LSE.

Join The Creative Network Mailing List

?In short, we exist to help you get the most out of your LSE experience! If there’s a way we can help you out, why not reach out to us? While a membership to the CN is not compulsory to participate in creative societies under our umbrella, by joining the CN, you can attend our regular series of events at subsidised rates, get the chance to feature on our website or ‘CN Presents’ Access, priority access to our events, and support everything we do to establish and grow LSE’s creative world! So why do we exist? What do we do? Here’s the 4 C’s!

COLLABORATE: Enable & facilitate collaboration between creative groups.

You have a project you’ve dreamed of doing, but you need a photographer, an editor, a graphic designer, or maybe just a few people to share your dream? Whatever help you need, reach out to us and we can use our network of current students and alumni to support you however we can. Whether it’s building your network, or simply promoting what you’re doing, we want to ensure you’re able to pursue that hobby or outlet you’ve always wanted!

COMMUNITY. Create a sense of identity & belonging for creative people at LSE.

Worried you may not meet people who share your creative interests? Fear not, there is a huge, talented community of creatives at LSE, and we’re here to help you meet them and find your crowd. We hold unique events and workshops, inclusive socials, collaborations with societies, and do everything we can to ensure when there’s a creative event happening around campus, you know all about it!

CAREERS: Develop an alumni network and promote careers in the creative industries.

The creative industry can feel like a tough one to crack, so we’re here to support anyone who wants to break into it. We’re developing a mentoring scheme connecting students with creative industry professionals, holding careers talks and creating an alumni network to ensure we can offer you support to get the start you need.

CELEBRATE: Promote & celebrate creativity on campus.

Too much creative talent exists at LSE that you don’t know about, so we’re here to ensure it gets the exposure it deserves. Our upcoming ‘CN Presents’ video series, talent shows, open mic nights, and the opportunity to be featured on the Creative Network website are just a few of the ways we’re working to celebrate LSE’s creative brilliance.
