HI! My name is Carlos and I’m thrilled to tell you why I’d make an amazing Postgraduate Student Officer!

MY MANIFESTO...

1. ACCESIBILITY & COMMUNICATION

Improve students’ engagement with their representatives.

- Create a unified channel that provides students an accesible way to share their concerns anonymously.

2. QUALITY OF LIFE AND WELLBEING

University can be stressful and at times overwhelming.

- Work with LSE's Student Wellbeing team to improve and expand the service for socializing, exercising and making time for non-academic activities.

3. MINORITY COMMUNITY

-  Promote the ongoing awareness campaigns around campus.

- Engage societies that feel underrepresented in the reviewing and updating processes of outdated university policies to ensure the campus is fully inclusive.

 - Ensure appropriate training for all teaching staff to facilitate safer classrooms

4. KNOWLEDGE SPILLOVERS

Facilitate more interdisciplinary academic and non-academic events.

-Sharing multiple experiences with people from different academic, cultural and professional backgrounds makes experiences at LSE even more enriching for personal and profesional growth.

5. CAREER EVENTS

Work hand in hand with LSE Careers to facilitate more program-specific events based on the cohort's profesional aspirations.
