LSESU Latin American Society and LSE Global South Unit presents the II Annual Leadership Seminar: Latin America's Challenges in the Public Sector and Multilaterales. This year we will welcome Verónica Zavala, General Manager of Office of Strategic Planning and Development Effectiveness at the Inter-American Development Bank.
Until 2013, Ms Zavala was the General Manager of the Inter-American Development Bank Country Department Andean Group. Previously, she was Sector Manager of the Public Sector of Latin American and the Caribbean at the World Bank. From 2008 until 2010 she was Executive Director for Colombia and Peru at the Inter-American Development Bank.
Ms Zavala is Former Peruvian Minister of Transportation and Communications and has more than 10 years of experience in the public sector of Peru.
Ms Zavala holds a Law Degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Perú and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University.
