Since the first known case of COVID-19, there have been over 110 million cases globally and over 2.4 million deaths. As the risk of disease spread increases with urbanisation and global travel, the threat of future pandemics looms ahead. How can we draw from past experiences to mitigate the next pandemic?
Together with the LSE Department of Economics, the LSESU Economic Society will be hosting the 3rd annual Economic Policy Competition! Your job is to design and present a policy solution that addresses a particular problem set – more details on task requirements and the problem set will be sent to participants after registration closes.
Cash Prizes:
1st Place: £300
2nd Place: £200
3rd Place: £100
Teams of three from any year, degree and university (undergraduates) are welcome. You can also sign up as an individual. We'll match you with other individuals to form a team.
