The LSESU Health Society Geneva trip is the flagship event of the society, is organized every year for randomly selected members of the society so they may connect to major Global Health and International Health Development stakeholders.

The trip allows members to gain knowledge on major current issues the stakeholders are tackling in global health and areas of research and impact in global health. Members will be able to network with professionals from the organizations as they learn about career opportunities within the organizations (including placements for MSc students). This year, we hope to secure sessions with the World Health Organization, the Global Fund, the World Economic Forum, Médecins Sans Frontières, and UNAIDS. We hope that participants will be able to chair the sessions, and every session will have time allocated for questions and discussion with the professionals and other participants.

The trip also allows members to build lasting friendships and memories as they explore Geneva together. Social events in the evening will also be organized. Last year, the trip was a tremendous success and we hope to once more plan and coordinate this exciting opportunity for our members.
