All work and no play? We can help you there. Explore our events and venues and find out how we're making your time at LSE an empowering and enjoyable experience.

Wednesday 18 March 2020
6:30pm - 8:30pm
Weston Cafe, 6th Floor LSESU

Join us for an exclusive art exhibition and speaker event, featuring photographs and a talk by the esteemed Jillian Edelstein

We will be exhibiting pieces from her specially commissioned ‘You, Me and Those Who Came Before: Portrait Series’, which brings to light a hidden history of refugees enriching our culture and communities for generations.

Those photographed include House of Lords member and campaigner Alf Dubs, poet Momtaza Mehri, actor Ncuti Gatwa, writer Dina Nayeri, Mayor of Sheffield Magid Magid and many more.  Their contributions to the UK are recognised through photography.

Come along to hear Jilian speak about her work, an exclusive opportunity not to be missed! Her photographs have been exhibited internationally including at the V&A and have appeared internationally in publications including Time.

Anyone can attend this event. We expect there to be high attendance, so please reserve a FREE ticket to guarantee entry.
