The Gulf Society at LSE is a welcoming space for students from the Gulf region and anyone interested in the Gulf to connect, build community, and celebrate Gulf culture and identity.

We aim to create a lively and supportive environment through social events, cultural celebrations, discussions, and networking opportunities. The society gives students a space to share experiences, make friendships, and learn more about the Gulf, its traditions, and its growing role in politics, business, healthcare, and the global economy.

We also hope to highlight the many career and job opportunities in the Gulf, as the region is rapidly growing and creating exciting opportunities across different sectors. Through speaker events, alumni talks, embassy links, and professional networking, we hope to help students explore future paths connected to the Gulf.

We welcome students from the Gulf, students with Gulf heritage, and all members of the LSE community who are interested in learning more about the region. Through events such as socials, National Day celebrations, Ramadan and Eid gatherings, speaker events, and career talks, we hope to create a strong and lasting community at LSE.
