Vote for Celine: Make LSE Feel Homey.

Bonjour, Hello, Merhaba, Nihao, Konnichiwa!

I am Celine Ela Estebe, an international French and Turkish first-year management student, who’s grown up in France, Türkiye and Japan!

Since I came to London, I have encountered many hardships. I am thus passionate about establishing an inclusive and supportive environment for our community, and I will make sure that you feel welcome here!

Experience:

  • Student representative throughout secondary school.
  • Head of Media during ErMUN’21.
  • Fluent in French, Turkish and English, learning Chinese and Japanese.

Vision:

  • Establish a weekly newsletter sent to international students containing important information, upcoming events, and various useful resources.
  • Work with the SU to adopt platforms where international students can communicate with other international LSE students, based on their interests and backgrounds e.g. Unibuddy.
  • Host cultural events, i.e. food fairs and festivals, throughout the academic year with LSE’s cultural societies.
  • Host impactful fundraisers to support suffering communities all over the world.
  • Listen to you, and advocate for the needs and rights of international students by working with the university administration, societies and other student officers.

If elected as International Students’ Officer, I promise that the LSE will feel like home away from home!
