Hello everyone,
My vision is clear. My goal being a Student Trustee is to help YOU, my peers, have a great and enjoyable time while studying.
I will do this by making the SU:
- More representative - use student experience to tackle issues
- Less bureaucratic - make running and using a society with less hurdles for approvals
- More accessible - try to get rid of barriers for students wanting to join sports clubs and societies
Sports clubs and societies have formed a major part in my academic journey for the past year and a bit, and as third-year is creeping closer, I have experienced both the great and the not so great of processes in place that cause inconvenience to us once too often. How about we change this? I will voice your concerns to the top and endeavour to make using the SU friction free, we can use the budget more efficiently. Let's make the most of our time by making it easier for us and for those to come.
