Candidate for the position of NUS Delegate
FRANCESCA NICOLODI
Doing It Better!
2 GOALS:
Hold social events throughout the year for all the departments to meet, network and take advantage of the internationalism that LSE offers in order to strengthen the graduate community and solidarity.
Make silent Zones more accessible to allow all students to access quiet spaces to concentrate.
These aims will positively impact the experience of students because it will allow everyone to study in their optimal environment and bring graduates together, will spur interdisciplinary conversations and build solidarity to look after each other and strive towards successful careers.
I will achieve these goals by putting my consistency, friendliness and patience at the service of the student body. As an undergraduate, I helped decolonize the curriculum, which necessitated finding a middle ground between the interests of the administration and the students. I want to represent all students because while being extraverted, I am able to focus on what needs to be done by shooting for small achievements, which allows me to be consistent in my work and easily overcome challenges.
I believe I make me an ideal candidate to be a postgraduate-taught officer and NUS delegate.
Thank you for reading my manifesto.
