Adapt With Aaina. Your Voice For Change.
Who I Am:
Hello! I’m Aaina and I am a first year BSc Economics and Economic History Student from India. I am strongly committed to championing the voices of LSE students at a national level and working towards making the community more inclusive, diverse and welcoming!
What I Stand For:-
- Campaigning for cheaper transport and student housing for students in London due to the cost of living crisis
- Believing all university students should be allowed to bring their dependents into the UK because education can take place at any stage of life!
- Attempting to promote De-Colonizing University Syllabus to make it more inclusive and wide-ranging
- Championing a nation-wide emergency helpline for students and by students to ensure safer university experiences for all :)
How I shall be YOUR voice for Change;-
- Conduct frequent surveys to find out what the students of LSE want from the NUS and how to achieve that
- Talks with students from different departments and levels of study to go above and beyond my way to understand issues at the grassroot level and voice them at a national level
- Create a safe environment for women to discuss female student issues specifically!!
