Represent LSE in the Global Arena, Vote for Satyam Surana!!
Currently studying my LLM; With a heart attuned to the struggles of the marginalised,I carry a unique perspective and empathetic spirit in my work. With prior experience of leading students at various levels back home,I look forward to using these skills for the best benefit of students here at LSE.
Some of the Key Points on my Agenda would be:
- Expand off-campus support schemes, specifically with respect to students in need of part-time jobs.
- Increasing the ambit of college placements for students, especially internship-based placement opportunities
- Advocate for subsidised and affordable regular transport service from all Halls to the Campus decreasing reliance on the expensive bus/tube.
- Work to increase the number of taps for potable water throughout campus.
- Put forth the issue of gender neutral and accessible washrooms.
- Provide equivalent fees for national and international students and transparency in scholarships.
- Initiate relevant accommodation-support schemes and Increase hardship fund.
- Push for subsidised meal schemes at the campus.
- Commitment towards decentralised development and service delivery irrespective of gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, ideology, age, etc.
L.S.E being a globally ranked institute, it deserves to now be an international model in student supportive & friendly atmosphere thus facilitating quality learning & education.
