Hi everyone! I am Sami Dulam, from Miami, Florida in America. Our first few weeks at the LSE have been a whirlwind. However, this adjustment has also involved an independence that can sometimes feel overwhelming and isolating. We needed more inclusive opportunities to meet one another during the past few weeks. If I were elected GC President, I plan to work intensely with the GC Department to plan all-expenses-paid events to provide everyone with equal access to opportunities to meet one another without the financial burden of paying an attendance fee. I also plan to create a mentorship program with past GC students to help us better navigate and maximize our time here. Having interned in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives have equipped me with the skills necessary to know what it takes to enact genuine progress, even when it seems difficult. I would make sure to consult with GC students before making concrete decisions to ensure that every choice is of universal interest. If elected, I would be honored to serve you all as GC President.
